Hi All,
Here's what I'm trying todo. I have a report with a slicer and a line chart. When I select value on the slicer I would like to have another line chart display the data that the slicer excluded.
Not sure if it's possible.
Thanks,
Marc
You could do something along these lines. In my example I have the sales amout by Brand and a slicer on the color. I also have a measure that calculates the [Sales Amount] for ALL colors then subtracts out the [Sales Amount]. What this does is calculate the amount that is excluded based on the slicer.
Excluded Color = CALCULATE([Sales Amount], ALL ( 'Product'[Color] ) ) - [Sales Amount]
Thanks for the exemple. Not sure how I could apply this to what I'm trying to do.
I have a dataset based on date and I want my second Line Chart to display my excluded date from the slicer.
Thanks,
You just need to change the target of the ALL:
Excluded Dates = CALCULATE([Sales Amount], ALL ( Dates[Year] ) ) - [Sales Amount]
I will have to dig a bit more to get it working I think.
My data is splitted by Year and also by Month. When I filter out years, I still want to get total by month. So will have to see how I can make it work.
