I have the below text that I want to show in the introduction page of my report. The text is a imported from an excel sheet to the Power BI as a text column.

POWER BI TABLE VIEW
When I try to show it in a table or matrix, it shows the below sequence of text that is completely out of sync. Can anyone please help me to get the same sequence of text as it is in my original file ? ( I had also tried the Longtext Viewer custom visual from Power BI and the result is the same.)

Solved! Go to Solution.
Change index to numeric value (Modeling - Data Type) and should be work
Try this out.
1. Go to the edit queries tab.
2. Go to Add Column tab under that
3. Click on Add Index Column
4. From the rop down select Start from 1
5. With this each row your source gets indexed
6. Save
7. In the Modelling tab , choose the table and choose the description column and set the sort by column to Index column added earlier at step 3 above.
If this solves your issue please aaccepth this as a solution and also give KUDOS.

Hi @CheenuSing,
I have updated the below table with the Index column.
When I sort the Introduction column with the Index column, still the below text on the Power BI is not in sync.
