I have disabled "Include in report refesh" in power query for two tables from different different sources that i dont have gateways for. But these sources are still included when the the report is published and therefor enabling scheduled refresh is not supported.
This video from 2018 describes the same issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxsQUArF2Ts
Is there a fix for this?

Hi @gfdytr4
If you disable refresh or static data, still data connection are there and you need to provide credential in Gateway setup.
All data source mentioned in your data source settings, you need to setup gateway connection.

Hi @gfdytr4
Yes if you connected from data source, you should setup gateway for the datasource.
If these are static file and small file like Lookup table, please use ENTER DATA.
So that way you no need to provide gateway connection.
Thanks

Thanks but this is not possible. Preferably its possible to disable refresh on the individual data sources so scheduled refresh works and I can intermitently do a manual refresh to up date all data sources.
