Disable function from SQL refresh?

Hi all,

I have a problem with a few functions I imported from a SQL database.

They often, for some reason, fail on refreshing. There is no need for these functions to refresh and it causes the entire refresh to fail.

I apparently can't exclude them from being refreshed?

  • Can I somehow store them "locally" (I have access to the DB)
  • Is there a workaround to disabling the refresh?

Hi @Anonymous ,

I'm afraid that we cannot achieve your requirement directly in Power BI currently.

You could have a reference of the blog below which may make sense of you.

Hi @v-piga-msft

Thanks for the reply.

Okay, do you know why they would often fail to load? Usually they load very fast, but just sometimes they fail.
