Disable Rounding on Import

I am importing a file with figures that are set to two decimal places - for example 2.27.

Upon import, PBI is rounding all of these figures UP. When I check the data type for the column, it is set to Decimal Number, however it's not importing the decimal figure, it's importing the nearest whole number.

It correctly imported the previous data, it's only this one column that appears to be incorrect. I have not changed any settings. pbi.jpg

Any idea where I would find the solition for this?

@sob123 , Make sure that the data type is corrected in the power query. In power query is should be made decimal in first change type step and should not be made whole number post that

Hey Idris,

I tried that also, but it doesn't work.

It's like it was imported, rounded up, and now it doesn't have access to the previous figure? I've tried importing it again, but that didnt' work either.

AND as a new development! I created a New PBI Document and imported the exact same file, and the numbers imported correctly! It's so weird!
