DirectQuery with ODBC (Postgre SQL)
#1. I first created a connection against PostgreSQL and it works fine in desktop but issues on Power BI services.
#2. I then create ODBC against PostgreSQL (imported) and thats working well in Power BI services = Schedule report
#3. But I would like to have DirectQuery against PostgreSQL (Power BI Services) but it seams that ODBC will not give me that option but I wonder if its possible?

Hi @Anonymous,
I'd like to suggest you take a look at the following document to create a custom connector with 'direct query' enabled on odbc driver if helps:
Enabling DirectQuery for an ODBC-based Power Query connector - Power Query | Microsoft Docs

The website talks a lot about the theory but how do you actually make a custom connector with 'direct query' enabled?

@Anonymous , You have to use PostgreSQL connector for that. In Case it not a cloud offering. Make sure you are using on-premise gateway
Gateway
