Hi,
I have a report that is built using Composite mode - Direct Query to AS (Azure). I realized that security settings on the cube are preventing users from seeing the report as intended. My IT department is recommending to switch my report to Import mode. After some research, it seems like there should be a table properties option to switch individual tables from Direct Query to Import mode, but that option is greyed out for me.
Any ideas what is preventing me from switching from Direct Query to Import?
Any other ideas how I can avoid rebuilding this whole report from scratch?

Hi @Anonymous ,
I noticed that you are using DirectQuery to AS.
This indicates that when initiating a connection to a data source, the connection mode is Live Connection and then switches to Direct Query. It is currently not possible to convert a live connection to import mode. Consider voting for this idea.

You can find your solution in an old thread here :https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Convert-storage-mode-from-direct-query-to-import-d...
I don't see a "Data Connectivity Mode" option.
What is the version of your PBI ?
Version: 2.122.746.0 64-bit (October 2023)
