I have connected to SAP HANA server thru SAP BW Application Server option. I have CDS view created in SAP which when accessed thru Power BI using Direct query mode, it loads the data as separate table for each column. i.e. CDS view has 35 columns(CDS view has one table only) and for each column a separate table is created. Anybody encountered with this problem? What could be the issue? Will the connection thru SAP HANA DATABASE will solve the problem?(There are three options to connect to SAP Database by Power BI 1. SAP BW Application Server 2. SAP BW Message Server 3. SAP HANA DATABASE)
