Direct Query - Could not load data for the visual - OLE DB or ODBC Error

Hello,

Using direct query I am facing the issue as Could not load the data for this visual for few reports. After multiple refreshes as well it is not resolving. However, using import option it is working fine.

Hi @chanukya_p,

To generate a DirectQuery connection to SAP HANA, please first review this document tomake sure that all applied steps are correct.

As you said, "Sometimes the report works and few times it does not", you could update the desktop version to latest one for a test.

Hello Yuliana,

I have updated desktop to May 2018 version. However, still, the issue remains same. If I use the import option the issue is not coming. Only with the Direct query, it is occurring.

Hello Hardik,

Thanks for your reply. The backend is SAP HANA Views. The link you shared is related to datatype mismatch. Sometimes the report works and few times it does not. Will it be an issue with version?

Regards,

Chanukya
