Differences between the data and the visualization
Hi there,
I'm having this issue, I have a dataset that summarizes looks like this.
The thing is that when I do a visualization splitting the data between the different TEAMS in the visualization if a project appears in two different TEAM the visualization count it no matter that I select the "Distinc Count" option. In the table the problem didn't show.
If you see the below visualization the difference in the totals rises when the TEAM category is added in the "Legend" fiesl of the visualization.
Any Idea how to avoid this????
Thanks in advance.

You are getting a difference as the stacked column chart visual is auto hiding blanks until you add a legend to split it.
As you have rows with blank information in the teams column, this is why you are getting a lower number before adding the TEAM category to that visualisation.
A potential workaround is to use Power Query/Transform Data to automatically replace any "Blank" value in the Team Column, to a placeholder value such as "N/A" or even a simple "-" to give it a value just so the visual has text to report.
Just a regular guy doin' Data Science.
