Desynchronizing Y axis when using small multiples and non numerical values

Hello All,

For reference, I am using a stacked bar chart. My graph represent the number of topics ( x axis), per person (y axis), per team (small multiples) and per status of topics (legend).

I will attach a screen of part of my graph below (not the entire graph for confidentiality reasons) :

I would like to desynchronize the y axis so that a person with no topic for a Team will not appear in that team. This would make my graph much easier to read. It seems impossible because my y-axis uses non numerical values. I have tried using a reference table to link a number to a person, but this won't let me desynchronize the y-axis still. Here is what I am left with :

Do you guys have any idea how to tackle this issue ?

Thanks for your help !
