Hi,
I am not sure what i am doing wrong but everytime there is an update and i open my desktop, it asks me to click on a link which takes me to download desktop site. I click on it and it says you already have it, just launch. So i launch it and it opens up as new desktop with updations. However, the next time i open it, it asks me to do the exact same steps. My old dashboard dont open up and i have to follow this step and open them through File -> Open option. Am i doing anything wrong here? I dont have admin rights and getting it updated through IT every month seems really troublesome. Is there any other way?

Hi @Anonymous ,
Do you mean to disable the update notifications?
You can click File-->Options and settings-->Options-->Updates, and uncheck the option.

Is there a way to accept the updates and not having to reach out to IT to get them installed? i am happy about the changes but implemention of those changes is somewhere i need help with.
Hi @Anonymous ,
You could negotiate with your IT and let IT give you administrator privileges. I think it is a most convinient way.
But for security reasons, it is better to let IT install it for you.
