i am trying to get a few clients to switch to powerBI but having a hard time getting buyin
is there a way i can distribute the PBIX file and lock it so the user cannot ad visuals or fields?
my client is scared of a gateway and wont invest until i prove its worth
my gosh - how do i do that???

I'm pretty sure that is not possible.
If you don't want them to access your report file, I could only imagine that you upload your report to a Power BI Service that you control and then either grant him access/share or show it directly to the client.
