PowerBI Dec 2021 import model connected to Snowflake warehouse.
I have parameterised the connection properties for each query in my pbix, which connects successfully to the data held in Snowflake.
Saving this pbix as a pbit (template) file and opening it up, presents blank connection parameters, if I populate these with the exact ones that worked in the original pbix file, the model connects and imports the data however all the relationships are broken between the various tables.
The queries being run are identical in terms of the underlying table schema's they are returning, the only difference is the location of them within Snowflake, and as changing the parameters in the pbix works without breaking the model them my assumption is it is to do with the fact it is first stored as a pbit file.
Has anyone else experienced this or have any troubleshooting recommendations?
Thanks
Hi, @taurusbi
I can't fix it on my side currently. The pbit I created based on sql server did not have such a problem when I replace the file path with the parameter. Please recheck whether there is an error when creating the parameters.
