Defult Power BI template

Customer needs to set default template and this should appear as soon as the Power BI applicaiton opens. Is there any way to set default template?

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    If you want the Power BI to open a default pbit file, we can try to add a parameter in the shortcut of Power BI Desktop such as following:

     

    "Location of PBIDesktop.exe" "Location of pbit file.pbit"

     

     

    we need to use "save as" in case we override the origin pbit file in such workaround.

      thanks But couldnot find this path in my local machine. Kindly assist on below path to make these changes.

        Hi Anonymous ,

         

        Sorry for delay in our response, we can just make a copy of the power bi desktop shortcut, then add the following at the end of "target"

         

         "Location of pbit file.pbit"
