Do you mind expanding on what your use case is here?  Not sure what you need to do with the data after you get it into excel but you could look to perform a one time set up where you;

1. use analyse in excel to create a connection to your model in excel.
2.  rebuild the pivot table how you want it.

2. Save it

3. open excel and refresh data when you need to update.

Hi @Anonymous ,

The export to excel, retrieves the data you have in your visualization, a matrix is the same as a pivot table in excel so in fact you are retrieving the data to excel has it should be in order to transform the data in a pivot or some other thing.

You canot setup the information in that way to get the data to excel using a matrix visualizaiton

Hi @MFelix ,

Thank you, is there any visualizaiton to show same table and get the excel correctly?

Best regards

Hi @Anonymous ,

The only visualization that I know can make the export in the exact same format is the table visualization because retrieves the information exactly as you have it however looking at your example you would not have the hierarchy, and would need to make a measure for each of your columns of the matrix.
