Hi,
I have a date column of format YYYYMM showcasing the Year and Month which has historical data from 199301 onwards till 201910 (present).
The report by default should open with the latest period checked in filters (i.e. 201910 currently for example) and only the figures/data from 201910 shown. All other periods should be available to the end user to select and view the data on need basis.
This Year column is also part of my Report Level Filters.
Please let me know how to accomplish this?
Thanks,
Vishy
Hi Anonymous ,
Are you checking that it is the state you wish when you save it? It should open the same way.
Let me know if you have any questions.
If this solves your issues, please mark it as the solution, so that others can find it easily. Kudos are nice too.
NathanielHi Anonymous ,
It is not supported to set default current value for Filters pane in Power BI currently .There is an idea about this issue, please vote it up, Customizing Filters with Some Default selected value , to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
We also submitted this feedback to the product group internally, so that the product group can pay attention to this problem and speed up the issue repairing.
Best Regards,
Amy
