Decomposite - AI split not supported

"AI split" does show with the error "not supported". But data is in import mode and also the measure is not complex, just value in table rows to sum. Values do show right in the tree but not "AI sp...

    I found the reason: There was one table in DirectQuery. But this table is not part of the AI visual, also not with relations.
    So, this should be changed - it is ok to have restriction of data only in impot mode for AI, but this should only be validated for sources realy used in the visual!

I have test on my side, it works well.

Please check if these Known limitations are in your report:

AI splits are not supported in the following scenarios:

  • Azure Analysis Services
  • Direct Query
  • Power BI Report Server
  • Publish to Web
  • Complex measures and measures from extensions schemas in 'Analyze'
