Dax Measure to identify values with letters in it

Dear Community

I want to creat new column and a DAX measure and the situation is as follow:

I have a column with values containing letters and I would like to create a new column and DAX measure that will show as YES if value has a letter and No if value do not have any letters:

Below is an exmaple of the values with letters I have:

Second is an example of the one without letters in it

Your support is highly appreciated to provide me with the Formula for the additional column in the Data table in the power BI Desktop.

Thanks and regards

Try to wrap this in a IF syntax something similar to:

IF (Table[Column] <> Blank(), ISERROR(VALUE(Table[Column]))  )

Hi Felix

thank you but I would like to use the same formula in the solution however I have blanks in my column that I do not want them to be considered. So how below formula can be modified to not consider Blank. In other words, return blank instead of TRUE/False for the blank ones

ISERROR ( VALUE ( Table1[Column1] ) )

Thank you

Try to wrap this in a IF syntax something similar to:

IF (Table[Column] <> Blank(), ISERROR(VALUE(Table[Column]))  )
