Dates in Power BI dataset not grouping when used in Excel

Hi,

I have a Power BI dataset with many date columns. Here the Data type is set for "Date":

However when I build a PivotTable in Excel from this dataset in Excel it does not group into year/months but only shows each date:

How can I make it group to year/month in Excel?

try right click any date on the PivotTable, say 11/01/2017, do you have the Group option?
