Hi Experts,
May be a silly question but not sure what I am missing.
I have a date slicer in the report. When the report refreshed next day, I expect the slicer to show for the date range including the new date.
But, the date slicer only shows last saved and published values. I had to slide on the slicer to show the new date values.
What am I missing here?
Appreciate your help.
Hi @shyamcharan ,
Autoselecting the newest dates is currently not a feature of the slicer. It will default to what you have selected either based on the persistent filter or the state of the report upon saving. Alternatively, you can use the relative dates option of the slicer. A similar idea has been raised and is already atPLANNED stage. As to when this will become available is still a question.
You can find the idea on this link: https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=39ba67cf-724e-4b6c-9906-51163749f759
Unfortunately, that's just how the date slicer (Between style) works. The best workaround is to use the relative date version, rather than between. This should automatically update with each new date (although it might be a little off if you are not near UTC time)
