Hi,
Been through other similar posts and nothing has helped.. I have some data loaded that runs between Nov 2021 and Oct 2022.. when I put it into a graph PowerBI puts Months Nov & Dec 2021 at the right hand side of the graph, like this..
On some other posts with similar issues either the steps dont work, parts of the steps are not available to me (differing veriosn of PBI desktop?) or they dont do anything, IE the graph stays the same..
Why would PBI put older months in the graphic like this? its obviously recognising the data as propper dates as all the 2022 are in the correct order without any involvment from me..
any help really appreciated.
thanks
J

@JamesBowdidge , check the datatype of the column, it should be date. Also, make sure you have sorted on axis using three dots
