When I connect my calendar table to my data table, the date on the data table is no longer a date. The calendar icon is no longer present on the data table.
When I check the field properties they are correct.
When I try to use the Entry Date from my data table in a calculation, it gives me an error.
How do I fix this relationship problem?

Not sure if your Entry Date column in your data table has time portion and it causes this issue, try to remove time portion by going to Power Query and try.
Sharing a dummy PBIX file to represent your scenario would help me further investigate your issue.

Check how you have defined the date range for your calendar table. It should always contain full years. 1st January to 31 December.
