Date inte the wrong order

I have basic matrix with names as rows, past 30 days as colums and count of closed cases as values. However, the dates don't appear in the right order. 

As for now they are:

I have created the dates with the following code: 

Calendar = ADDCOLUMNS (
CALENDAR (DATE(2016;1;1);TODAY());
"ShortDate"; FORMAT ( [Date]; "d mmm"))

If I instead use Date (the date hirarchy) everyting is in order, but then I can't pick a format that is sutable for my columns.

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can create a new calculated column :

Number = MONTH('Calendar'[Date])*100+DAY('Calendar'[Date])

Then select the ‘ShortDate’ column—Sort by Column-Number in the Data View. Results are as follows:

You can create a new calculated column :

Number = MONTH('Calendar'[Date])*100+DAY('Calendar'[Date])

Then select the ‘ShortDate’ column—Sort by Column-Number in the Data View. Results are as follows:
