My raw data has format of yyyy-mm-dd
Even when I change format it is detecting wrong
For example
My raw data has date
2020-09-01
Which is literally September 1 2020
But power bi is showing January 9 2020
Please help

hi @Sujit_Thakur - you can created a calculated column if required to format the date as required for reporting - please refer to screenshot below

@Sujit_Thakur , Thanks for sharing what has worked
I would have expected power bi to take yyyy-mm-dd as yyyy-mm-dd , but seem like for india/UK date format it is YYYY-DD-MM
Now there additional step, but that will make sure we have the correct date irrespective of settings
new Date =date(left([date],4) , mid([date],6,2), right([date],2)
