Hi all,
Please could someone help with the above - I am very new to Power BI and am trying to get data from a Sharepoint Folder. I have managed to find a way to get to my data, but now I can get it all with Date formats for some reason, and this is hindering my progress to filters etc. How do I resolve the above photo?
thanks
Robbie

HI @Anonymous,
Did these date fields existed in multiple date formats or stored the data value in a format that differs from your system data formats?
If you mean the first one, I'd like to suggest you replace them with the same one before format. Then change the data type step can work well.
If you mean the second one, I'd like to suggest you take a look at the locale usage in date type format.
Internationalization (Power Query)

Hi @Anonymous
Can you show the result of those date columns before converting them to date type? It is most likely a mismatch between the format the dates come in from Sharepoint and the locale for import in your regional settings.

HI @AlB ,
I didn't really convert them to date type - I'll show you all the steps I did before hand to get there and then might help you understand.
1. Get my data from my Sharepoint site
2. Then it comes up with this and I click Transform
3. From there I filter by words to get to the file I want to get to.
So it seems as soon as I download the source it is creating date errors.
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous,
These snapshots did not help us clarify your scenario, can you please share some sample data with the same format on your data source? (I think your source data may stored datetime value in a different format that local system used)

Xiaoxin Sheng
