Date automatically change to current day date when data is refresh on date slicer

Hello Power BI community,

would it be possible to have the date change automatically (on date slicer) in a report when it is refresh to show the current day's date. The user currently has the option on the date slicer to manually change the date, but I would like it to show the current day data when they open the dashboard. Thank you for the help.

hi  @laehatlav 

It couldn't achieve that set a default value for a slicer, becasue when you log out of Power BI and come back to a report, the same items will be selected as when you left.

For your case, I think the relative date slicer may meet your requirement.
