Date attribute format issue with slicer and tabular model

I have 2 Combine two models ( tabular)  into one model.  In that scenario  ,I have a date dimension table which has date attribute and its format string is set to short date and in another model it is yyyy-MM-dd.

Datatype for date attribute in tabular model is set to datetime for both models

Slicer used here is the standard slicer .

Reports on Powerbi serrvice  always use DD-MM-yyyy but this setting cannot be controlled on Powerbi report on Slicer visual which is using this .

Now that I have to create one common date attribute hence need to know what format I need to set in one combined model ?
