TableA - having columns CName , Amount , startdate ,Enddate
TableB - Cname ,Detail1 , Detail2 , ImplantDate.
I need to set a report level filter on Cname and StartDate, EndDate
Based on the above criteria
Page1 ->Visualization #1 filter on TableA.StartDate, EndDate and CName
Page1 ->Visualization #2 based on TableA.StartDate, EndDate and CName
Please help.!!!
Regards,
Vineet
Page1 ->Visualization #1 filter on TableA.StartDate, EndDate and CName
Page1 ->Visualization #2 Show data of TableB having TableB.ImplantDate between TableA.StartDate, TableA.EndDate
I am not sure if Visualization #2 filters is possible in Power BI or Not ???
Hi @vineetdubey,
If you can share a sample, we can make it more clear. The solution could be as follows. It depends on your data model.
1. Create a measure like below.
measure = IF ( MIN ( 'tableb'[Implantdate] ) > MIN ( tablea[StartDate] ) && MIN ( 'tableb'[Implantdate] ) < MIN ( tablea[EndDate] ), 1, BLANK () )
2. Filter out the blanks using a filter or a slicer.
Best Regards,
Dale
