Hi,
I was trying to connect to PBI directly from Excel.
I could see only 15 or so datasets, not all the ones I have access to, neither could I search them in the search box.
Next time I tried again and I could see a dataset that I was looking for last time, but another one 'disappeared'. Still not all of them are listed there.
When I enter via PowerBI service, I do have access to the dataset that I'm looking for.
Any ideas?
Could it be a matter of changes newly implemented in the datasets and synchro?
Hi @martapbix ,
Refer this , please check what you need to be aware of when connecting to Power BI datasets in Excel:
Is the dataset you are not visible in excel a shared dataset?

Hi,
Thanks, i checked that and everything looks ok, also other users can see (we all have the same privilages).
Hi @martapbix ,
Do you and other users only see 15 datasets? Please check whether the owner of the visible data set is only you. Are data sets invisible to you shared with you by others?
Best Regards,
Neeko Tang
You're logged in with the same account in Excel, right?
Yes, bc I can see the datasets, just the limited amount of them.
