Dataload in PBI desktop

I am trying to load data in import mode from SQL server and it gives me this error "Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] Microsoft SQL: Login timeout expired". I am working on PowerBI desktop report server May version '.

@Ethanhunt123 - Difficult to say. Let's start with what connector you are using, SQL Connector, ODBC Connector, ?

@Ethanhunt123 - OK, and now what authentication are you using? And I suppose you might want to check the basics like whether or not you can connect to it via something like Microsoft SQL Server Manager, etc., can you ping it, etc. The error looks like it is timing out trying to communicate with the SQL Server.

Yes I can connect to that DB and query that view in the DB
