Hi, I have set a dataflow that connects to SharePoint online And then my dataflows connect to Power BI dashboard as a dataset My questions is: I'm already having a refresh schedule for dataflows DO I also need a refresh schedule for my dataset(that connects to this dataflow)?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If your dataset is doing direct query to the dataflows that already have a refresh schedule, no additional refresh should be needed. You should be able to add something to your SharePoint list to test that out to confirm easily.

@Anonymous
You need to have two refreshes (if i understood your problem correcty).
One refresh scheduler that updates the data to the target dataset and another refresh scheduler ( in PowerBI side) that gets the latest data from the dataset.
Im using direct query to fetch data from dataflows
