Hi all,
I'm an engineer and new to PowerBI and databases. We have managed to build a simple database, load it into and display it into PowerBI. However, we are struggling to build the tables/columns in such a way that we can connect them via relationships. Basically all our production data is coming in on a daily basis (date) at low levels (plant) but thereafter requires aggregation (to factory, area, company levels). I'm sure there's a smart way instead of creating calculating all sorts of columns but can't find it in the manuals. Below picture provides a simplified example of the structure we are facing. Any help/suggestions much appreciated!!
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can try to solve your problem by modeling the data, which you need to consider according to your actual situation, a good model is very important in Power BI.
