DataSource.Error: We couldn't parse OData response result Sharepoint 2013 List

Hi

I get an error like below while trying to get data from Sharepoint 2013 list by OData feed.

This way was working for me for some time but after a while it stopped working.

The strange thing is that it doesn't work with only this page. Other pages works fine.

DataSource.Error: We couldn't parse OData response result. Error: A missing or empty content type header was found when trying to read a message. The content type header is required.
Details:
    DataSourceKind=OData

what can be an issue?

Thank you

Hello Piotraq,

Hello all,

I have the same problem. As you already described the reason is in changed columns of the sharepoint.

How can I adjust this afterwards?

Best regards,
Dennis

Hi @Piotraq ,

Based on my research, there is a similar therad about WCF Data Service is not latest, but the thread is six years old. Have you tried to reproduce this issue in the latest Power BI Desktop?

Probably the problem happened after the sharepoint list has been modified (there were new columns could duplicate in the power bi later).

Because power bi held the cache of this list it couldn't refresh or even get a new data.
