DataSource.Error: An error happened while reading data from the provider

Hello everyone, 

When I try to refresh my queries on the PowerQuery editor and with Oracle as the source, I get this problem:

DataSource.Error: An error happened while reading data from the provider:'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'
Details:
DataSourceKind=Oracle
DataSourcePath=tdmpsb02

My connection to Oracle is working fine and I don't know why I can't refresh it without causing problems.

I have tried reinstalling my Oracle, PowerBI, I have the 64-bit version on both systems.

I also try this solution:

1. Locate and copy the oraons.dll file in ‘<>product\12.2.0\client_1’ on your oracle install path

2. Paste the file into the ‘<>product\12.2.0\client_1\bin directory

Hi @remyc - Verify that the correct version of Oracle Data Access Client (ODAC) or Oracle Instant Client is installed. Both Oracle and Power BI should be 64-bit versions, which you've already confirmed.
If you reinstalled Oracle, ensure that the PATH environment variable includes the path to the bin directory of your Oracle installation (for example, C:\Oracle\product\12.2.0\client_1\bin).

Verify that the correct version of Oracle Data Access Client (ODAC) or Oracle Instant Client is installed. Both Oracle and Power BI should be 64-bit versions, which you've already confirmed.
If you reinstalled Oracle, ensure that the PATH environment variable includes the path to the bin directory of your Oracle installation (for example, C:\Oracle\product\12.2.0\client_1\bin).

checking logs from both Oracle and Power BI might give more detailed insight into the root cause.
