Data will not load in Power BI desktop visualizations when using a 5G internet connection

Greetings,   I have to use a 5G internet connection when working from home. When I open a pbix file, I get the error below for each visualization.   Couldn't load the data for this visual A tran...

Hello cwnash,

 

Power BI Desktop allows you to adjust the timeout settings for queries. Increasing these settings might help mitigate the issue:

  • Go to File > Options and settings > Options.
  • Under the Current File section, go to Data Load.
  • Increase the Maximum number of concurrent data source queries to a higher number.
  • Under Global > Data Load, you can also increase the Time-out setting.

Thanks for the feedback.

I set:

Maximum number of simultaneous evaluations to 30

Maximum memory used per simultaneous evaluation to 482

 

I also cleared cache. 

 

I still get the error “Couldn’t load data for the visualization”
