I've been trying to get a account manager overview across zipcodes in the Netherlands both in power BI desktop and powerbi.com.
The dataset is about 3000 records and looks like this:
When I plot this on a Power BI map and select about 300 of these rows I get the below result (which I find pretty nice):
Note the red squares, this is where data is going to go missing when I select the fouth accountmanager.
The below images uses about 500 rows (zipcodes) as data. (When i select all the rows, alot more disapears :). )
The below image is the same data, but with a fourth accountmanager selected:
Does anyone have an idea whats happening here, why is data disapearing and what can I do about it?
Is there perhaps a limit on objects you can plot on a map? I ask this because the other map with the pie charts, behaves the same way.

No, the warning in the screenshots is that I need more location data because i'm using zipcodes not "real" location data.
But I suppose there could be more then one warnings hiding behind this one. Ill give your link a read 🙂
@ralbouts Which columns you are using in the chart. Is it only zip codes or Country + ZipCodes? Using only zipcodes can confuse Power BI because in Netherlands four digit code is used. The same format is used in other countries as well so You need to tell power BI more about which postal Codes you are trying to plot.
Secondly in your model did you label Country and ZipCode columns as Country/Region and Postal Code under
