Data using ODBC connection Power BI Desktop
We are conencting to the Redshift dB using ODBC, the version of power bi we have does not support the live connection to redshift the data is downloaded as exists as a part of the dossier.
Our requirement is once the development is done, while migrating to higher env, we do not want to have the data as a part of the dossier as there is different set of data depending on the env and aslo consists of sensitive which do not want the data to be present.
Is it possible to remove/delete the data before migrating?
Any help will be appreciated.

Rachamallu01 , You can change the connection and refresh the data in desktop. Typically refresh means reload the data. Post that you configure you incremental and power service for scheduling the data refresh

Hi Rachamallu01 ,
Since your connection does not support live connection mode, the underlying data can be saw in power query in the report, if the development is all finished, you can filter the sesentive data in power query, close it and not apply it. If apply the change in power bi, it needs to re-build the data model.
