Data source access issue

Good afternoon,

I'm having an issue that hopefully can help with.  I created a dashboard using PBI desktop.  The source files are located on a sharepoint directory that is public, and in the pbix I connect to the files using my credentials.

The is someone else that is starting to work on the dashboard with me, and he has been provided a copy of the pbix file; however, when he tries to make changes or go into power query, he gets a 404 message for the file access.  He's tried logging in using his credentials, downloaded the data file from the workspace, and still no luck.  He has access to the workspace and all permissions in the workspace.   Any thoughts?

You cannot create dashboards from Power BI Desktop. You can only create reports.

Are you using a file connector or a sharepoint folder connector?  Please show a sanitized version of your Power Query code.
