Data sorting in a calculated table

Hi @Anonymous, @tex628!

Sorry for the late comment, but this was revealed only with real life use. When I upload my report to PBI online app the chart with tenure always changes to the sorting not by Index (tooltip), but by other columns. I was changing this several times online in the report, but the app keeps skipping my settings. Can this be fixed somehow?

Hmm, this may be a personal bookmarks issue. You could disable that in File | Options and setting | Options | Report Settings. Otherwise, seems like a bug/issue.

You could check the Issues forum here:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues

And if it is not there, then you could post it.

If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".

Hi @Anonymous ,

I tried to follow your previous steps completely and publish to the service. There is no different from that in desktop.

Please check if bookmarks are used in the report when publishing.
It is also possible that the corresponding field is invalid. Please try to publish it with a different name and use it.

You can also try to click the "Reset to default" button.test_reset-to_default.PNG

Best Regards,
Liang
