Data refresh in transform data

Hi,

Actually I have doubt regarding transform data.

So, when we go to transform data from data model, we see some auto refresh happens  in the power query. So my question is,

Does the views or tables get refresh automacally the moment we enter to power query?

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi alpha_123,
No you can only refresh the preview in power query.
When you go to Transform data and data refresh happens, it only refreshes the preview without afecting actual data.
When you click on apply and refresh only then table data will be refreshed.

The answer is no. When you open Power Query no auto refresh happens. The refresh only happens to the tables you made changes on and after you close & apply the Power Query
