Hi all: Good day! I have a ‘Map’ [regular] showing different events info. In the tooltip, I have added Start Date, End date, Subject, etc.
1. But when actual start date is 7/15/2020 [from the database], in tooltip I can see the options of Earliest, Latest – that makes the date totally different like 7/1/2020 or 7/26/2020 when I hover over a bubble on the Map.
2. Same thing happening when I choose the Subject of the event to show in tooltip- it asks me to select First/ Last, etc. I want to show the exact event info (subject) when I hover over a bubble on the Map.
The bubble in the 'Map' has 'location_id' for Location field. There are 5 events [subject] for a location_id in 1 instance [like the one in screen shot]. I want to see all five events/ subjects when I hover over a bubble [location_id]
Is there a way to show the actual data value in this case [in the tooltip]? Many thanks in advance. 🙂
@Anonymous - Can you post sample data perhaps? In order to get 5 bubbles at the same location you would need to have something that uniquely identifies them, such as something you put in the Legend perhaps. But, they would likely stack on top of one another and you wouldn't be able to see them all anyway. It's tough to say without recreating what you are doing.
Hi @Greg_Deckler : Thanks, it's better now with changing the Legend to have 'subject' [summary of event]. But I had another field [Priority] in legend with color coding to show the priority/significance of an event [these are maintenance eventsoperators should know of- so had some color coding to show which raise a flag]. Can I have multiple fields in 'Legend', I have not been able to add more than one so far! Many thanks in advance. 🙂
@Anonymous - Hmm, no, to the best of my knowledge you cannot have more than one thing in the legend. Hmm, perhaps you could use Size for the priority maybe? Or are you already using that for something? It might be that the ArcGIS map visualization provides more options.
