Data label format self changes

Hello,

I have a strange behavior of my data label on a Stacked column chart, the format measure is in percentage:

  • With X-axis the % is not displayed but the decimal number:

  • Without the X-axis the percentage is correctly displayed:

I can create a new measure with a FORMAT or a & "%" as a workaround but I don't want to overload my Semantic model.

Do you have any idea why I have this behavior?

Hello @Samuel_OBS

The formatting settings for the measure itself look correct.

Could you check:

  1. The measure with the percentage format is indeed the same measure specified in the Y-axis field for that particular visual.
  2. Check in the format pane
    1. Visual > Data Labels > Value > Field The measure used for data labels is the same measure as above.
    2. Any funny settings under Visual > Data Labels > Display units or Value decimal places (probably not this)
    3. Any funny settings under Properties > Data format
    4. If all else fails, try Reset all settings to default and re-enable data labels to see if it's fixed.

Do any of those ideas help?

Hello @OwenAuger,

Thank you for your time and your answer.

I've try several of your porposals:

  •  Properties > Data format I didn't kew about it, it's better but not 100% correct, even if I select 0 decimal it still displays 2 (strange)

  • Reset all settings to default this corrected my issue, thanks a lot! 👍
