Data is not picking up correctly

Hello!  I'm not sure why my data isn't being picked up in my reports.  When I look at my raw data, it is all there, but my merge isn't pulling in both tables.

I'm not sure why my merge isn't working - can you help?

Hi, @nataliesmiy1357

Make sure that the columns you use to merge tables have the same data type in both tables. A mismatch of data types can cause the merge to fail.

Double-check the configuration of the merged query. Make sure you select the correct table and matching columns. If you're using Power Query for merging, see the documentation on merging queries for guidance:

Tutorial: Shape and combine data in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Make sure that the values in the columns used for merging are exactly the same, including case sensitivity and leading/trailing spaces. Sometimes, data discrepancies can be subtle.

When you merge data, Power BI might prompt you to set a privacy level. Incorrect privacy level settings can sometimes interfere with data combinations. Review the privacy level to make sure that the privacy level is set correctly for the data source.
