Data in Table visual does not match with bar chart

I have a table visual which has two columns(CITY and STUDENT_ID): This data is correct. But when I convert the same table to a column chart, only one column is shown.  Why is this happe...

    Hi  Anonymous ,

     

    Thanks for the reply from PhilipTreacy , please allow me to provide another insight: 

    In Power BI Desktop, if the data you put into Visual is the same, then the data is automatically aggregated.

    So you need to put [Account ID] into Visual to form each individual line.

Thanks Anonymous , this approach shows the correct data in the column chart.

Is there any way to make the color of all columns same? 

Furthermore, how would this work if I were to add a different field as the legend?
