Data in Chronological order
Hi all,
I hope you are doing great.
I am facing a challenge in having my x axis data in chronological order.
I attend auctions each thursday and there is a rotation of 3 different regions. Songwe, Mbinga, Moshi, Songwe, Mbinga, Moshi etc (details in attachment). So far I have data for 17 auctions.
Once I open my table on PBi, I would like to see the data from the first auction that happened physically, Songwe M1 until the last one, Songwe M6.
The graph shows the relationship between two data sets and in the middle I would like to connect them with a chronological order so that the graph could reflect it as well.
Any of you has an idea on step forwards I would appreciate it.
Thank you,
Rafael

Hello! You will want to to Sort By in the Column Tools ribbon. In this case, sort Auction Name by Auction number as it happens. Once you do that, put Auction Name from your 'Auctions as they happen' table into your viz and you should be all set. Sort one column by another column in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
