Hello everyone. This is my first post, and I'm new to power bi.
While I was working on my report, there is a really large interger"13308700010099" and it shows as sentific notation in table 1. I want to do a full outer merge with table 2 on this column. However, full outer merge doesn't work. Power BI keep showing me
DataFormat.Error: We couldn't convert to Number.
Details:
1248563. LC
I don't know why this happened. I can do left outer merger but not full outer.
Please help me.
Thanks
Hi @awawaw ,
From the error message, it looks like the 1248563. LC value could not be converted to a numeric value. So please check if your columns contain the "1248563.LC", or contain the row that reported an error, like this:
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Winniz

@awawaw what is the type of this column in PQ, maybe change it to decimal instead of the whole number.
