Data View with Datasets

Hello everyone,

I am creating datasets for our users in the company to get the data and to start creating reports themselves. When I created the datasets I used the import mode so I am able to see the view data function as tables. 

When I share the datset with the users they are not able to see the preview of data in Power BI Desktop. Is there any chance that this can be changed? It would be a huge benefit for the users if they can see the data in a table format so that they understand better the content of the dataset.

@EmiliaB_123 , the Best benefit of the dataset is in live or direct query mode. In both case you can not see data in data view
