Hi
I am relatively new to using Power BI an have a question regarding data types and Field properties.
I have a column in my data titled 'Type' that relates to work category (e.g. Personal/Trust/Partnership).
However, when I drag the field into a Pie chart visual, it fails to recognised the inidiviuals categories and refers to a 'Count' rather than a sum of the individuals categories.
How do I go about amending the column type etc. so that the visuals can recognise each individual category?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,
What is your data type of your target column? If you want to get the aggregates of the column, it should be numeric data.
