Data Refresh

Has anyone been experiencing a slowdown in data refreshes after the Oct. 19 update was installed? A report that normally takes 7 minutes to refresh is now 2 hours in (and not done). Another was stuck at the 'Evaluating Query' step for 30 minutes.

It works well on my side.

Make sure you enable parallel loading tables.

and you could try the previous month version of Power BI Desktop to check if it works well.
